Industrial-strength hook and loop fastener (aka “Velcro”) on limbs provides enough resistance to simulate that of a regularly-stitched toy, and allows your dog to experience the satisfaction of “dismembering their prey” by pulling the limbs off the toy, without actually destroying it.
Tearribles are interactive toys that will provide you and your dog with hours of fun, bonding time, and give your dog the exercise and mental stimulation he/she needs to minimize destructive behaviors which result from boredom and lack of exercise. Tearribles are not a chew toy.

Tom using his Tearrible as headrest
This is the best toy we have purchased. Our Tom not only plays with it he carries it around, and even uses it as a head rest. We now have two just in case - he would be so unhappy to be without one.

Very Happy Bulldog!
My dog goes crazy for pulling type games during playtime and I’ve never seen him so happy with a toy! Some limbs are tedious to reattach properly but that’s a small price to pay for our favorite toy. He would play with it all day if it weren’t for naps!

Dog loves it but …
Our 65lb dog loves the XL Tearrible. She becomes totally fixated on it, so we limit play to 15 mins. The only issue is that it is quite difficult to put the limbs etc in again with sufficient firmness. The factory-set limbs were amazing but our replacement efforts, not so much. She can pull each limb off in ten seconds or less. The ears are particularly problematic. If the holes were a tiny bit bigger, there would be more room for fingers to maneuver.

Really fun
Once the dog figured out she could remove the parts, she wants to do it over and over again. So I find myself attaching them 30 times a day. Great toy!

Tearable monster!
One of our dogs absolutely loves this! He’s an older guy but he absolutely loves tearing his tearable apart over and over. So far it is holding up well. I really appreciate the removable squeaker feature. Our other dog hasn’t quite figured this out yet. But he has never been one for playing tug. Overall, very satisfied:)
